Résumé. – Xenohippopsis gen. nov. est décrit de Guyane et comparé aux genres proches. Son espèce-type, Xenohippopsis ariane sp. nov. est décrite et illustrée.

Abstract. – Xenohippopsis gen. nov. is described from French Guiana and compared with closely related genera. Its type species, Xenohippopsis ariane sp. nov., is described and illustrated.
